Welcome to Debbie's Adsense Help Blog

My name is Debbie Moore, and I have seen great success as an Adsense publisher for about 5 years now.

I started using Adsense to improve the hard-earned income that I received as a web site designer. I soon realized that Adsense could be my main source of revenue, and have since developed content-rich, niche web sites that provide me with a VERY comfortable income from the Adsense program alone!

No more slogging away at client's web sites, trying to please them, and then having to fight tooth and nail to get those clients to pay their bills. With Adsense, I just create compelling content and optimize my pages, and let Adsense monetize my pages for me. Now I can afford to be very selective in what I choose to do with my day - and only take on clients that truly appreciate (and pay up front) the value of the services that I provide.

Over the years doing this, I've learned how to optimize my Adsense code for an exceptional yield on all of my pages, and I am going to share what I have learned with you here on my Adsense tips blog.

Optimizing your pages for Adsense is a never ending task. It's something that I work at daily. None of it is rocket science - just simple things you need to tweak with your adsense code and placement to give you the best Adsense CTR (click through rate) and, with an increased CTR, usually you will increase your Adsense ECPM.

So let's start with the three most basic and most effective ways you can increase your Adsense earnings. These things can be accomplished very easily and should give you an immediate increase in Adsense earnings.

I wish you the best with your Adsense efforts!

If you have any questions, please post them to my comments, and I will try to answer as quickly as possible!

Regards,

Debbie

Adsense Tip #3 - Choose the Most Profitable Adsense Ad Format

Well, my friends, this tip came to me right from the horses mouth - Adsense. At one time, I was laboring away, using 728x90 Adsense banners on my pages, thinking these would give me the best click through rate and yield. Much to my great surprise and delight, I got an email from the Adsense Optimization Team. They wanted to give me a few pointers on getting a better response from my ads. What did I learn?

USE 336X280 Adsense Ad Blocks!

The 336 x 280 Adsense blocks are by far and wide the most effective you can use. Once I switched to this format for all of my Adsense ads, I saw my adsense revenue increase dramatically. These ads are the workhorses of the Adsense ad family. Use them, and you'll see your Adsense revenues multiply like a hutch filled with randy rabbits.

Give this one a try, my friends, and let me know your Adsense success stories by adding a comment below! Enjoy

Adsense Tip #2 - Match Your Adsense Ads To Your Site

Make your Adsense ads match your site theme for best results.

1. Set your ad borders and background to the same color as your site's background. This will help the Adsense ads to blend in with your site, becoming part of the site - rather than a glaring, obtrusive "ad" that visitors will ignore.

2. Set your title link text to the same color as your site's a:link color setting, so that the Adsense ads look similar to the regular links on your site.

3. Match the font size and type of your Adsense ads to your site (or match your site to your Adsense ads).

Your Adsense ads should be visible and prominent; they are there as a convenience to your visitors, leading them towards products, services and other web sites that are related to your site or blog. Make sure that your visitors can see them by reducing "ad blindness". Match your Adsense ads to your site - or match your site to your Adsense ads.

Adsense Optimization Tip #1 - Above the Fold

In my experience, the easiest and most dramatic way to increase your adsense earnings is to place your adsense code blocks above the fold on all of your pages. What does this mean? When you look at your page in a browser, you want your adsense ads to appear in the top area of the page - so that visitors do not need to scroll down your page to see your adsense ads. Adsense ads that appear below the fold (ie where people will only see them after they scroll down your page) are a waste of space. Move these little suckers up the page - or get rid of them entirely - they're doing nothing for you.

By following this little adsense tip, you should see an almost immediate increase in your click through rates! Give it a try, and let me know how it works for you by posting in my comments section! :-)
